More than 300 newspaper companies from European Union have signed an agreement with Google to display their content in the search engine of < em>big tech

According to its own disclosure Google, the companies that signed the agreement are in Germany, Hungary, France, Austria, Holland and Ireland.

There was no disclosure of the value of the deal.

This action took place because since 2019 the European Union instituted the European Copyright Directive, which ensures that news agencies request payment from online platforms that use their content.

Therefore, more than 220 European agencies will have their news available to the whole world, in text or video.

Probably, Google decided to sign the payment agreement so as not to have problems, such as the Facebook in 2021, when the Australian News Corp demanded for unauthorized use of news.
