It’s not news to anyone that the pandemic has increased demand for virtual events. However, it is news that the Digital Transformation (TD) startup is investing in new technologies and testing formats that integrate virtual worlds with real-time interactions.

In the first half of May, TD held the event TD Web Conference, which had the metaverse as its central theme.

During the event, TD tested one of its new tools: the K1M metahuman presenter, developed on the MetaHuman Creator of EpicGames, owner of Fortnite. 

Last year, this same technology was used to make avatar Lu (from Magazine Luiza) dance with singer Anitta, in a marketing action between the store chain and TV Globo.

Our perception is that more mature companies seek an online strategy to optimize their customer acquisition results. After all, in what situations would it be feasible to have 30, 50 and even 100 thousand people at a corporate event?”

According to surveys conducted by Thrive My Way, in 2022, about 40% of events will be virtual, representing an increase of 5% compared to 2021. It is estimated that by 2028 , this market reaches revenue of US$ 22.75 billion (about R$ 115 billion Reais).
